:: Consular Registration ::

All Portuguese Citizens, residing outside of Portugal should register at the Portuguese Consulate closer to your residence. You will be in the Consulate database and under Consular protection. Note that, in order to request a document to this Consulate you will need to be registered. The Consular Registration is an attendance required act, except for children younger than 10 years old. In this case, the legal representative can register the child. In order to make proof that you are registered in this Consulate, you will receive a Consular Registration Card. Note that you can only register if you have Portuguese Nationality and a valid Portuguese ID Card (Bilhete de Identidade). If your ID card has expired you can make a provisory registration, but in this case the Consulate (Portuguese Consulate in Riyadh) will not be able to issue any documents in your name. DOCUMENTS Portuguese ID Card Passport 3 Photos (documents size) CPR For children younger than 10 years old that don’t have Portuguese ID Card: “Cédula Pessoal” or birth Certificate The Consular registration will be processed in the Portuguese Consulate in Riyadh, and can take one week to be ready. The costs of the Consular Registration are 3,300 BD per person.
